Milk & Bone have done it again. I will not say that Deception Bay is flat-out superior to Little Mourning, but there are definitely more ideas, more risks, and a more confident approach to song-craft here. What makes this special to me, though, is the impact that it has on me that will only ever be understood by one other person, who is so close and yet so far, and of whom I will always be reminded when listening to this album, for better or worse.
